Box Elder, June 9, 2025 – The City of Box Elder is excited to announce the return of our annual Cleaning up the Box event – and we need your help!
We’re calling on residents, families, businesses, and community groups to join us in giving our city a cleaner, brighter community by volunteering to help clean up litter and debris in public spaces across Box Elder.
Event Date: June 20, 2025
Time: 8 am to finish (anticipating a couple of hours)
Meeting Location: Details to be provided upon registration.
Volunteers will help pick up trash along roadsides and other public areas. This is a great opportunity to make a visible difference in our community, spend time outdoors, and show pride in where we live.
Please contact Cassie Furchner, Assistant Public Works Director, at 605-503-0825 or cassie.furchner@boxelder.us to register.
Trash bags, safety T-shirts, and gloves will be provided. We recommend volunteers wear sturdy shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.
Let’s come together to make Box Elder shine! Thank you for helping us keep our city clean, safe, and beautiful.
