Notice is hereby given that the following petitioner has applied to the City of Box Elder for Rezoning as follows:
Application by Flying Eagle, LLC to Rezone Future Lot 1 of Fritzsche Subdivision (currently a portion of the S½ of Section 36 less Reservoir Lot of Valley Heights Subdivision and Less Lots H-1 and H-2 and less Right-of-Way) All in Section 36, T2N, R8E, B.H.M., Box Elder, Pennington County, South Dakota.
The applicant wishes to rezone the property from Agricultural District to Low density residential.
Notice is further given that said application will be heard by the City of Box Elder Planning and Zoning Commission at their meeting held in the Council Chambers at Box Elder City Hall, at 420 Villa Drive, beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 and before the Box Elder City Council at their meeting beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. Any person interested may appear and be heard at either meeting or submit written comments to the Box Elder Planning Department before 5:00 p.m. on August 26, 2025.
