NOTICE OF HEARING REQUEST FOR VACATION OF RIGHT-OF-WAY BEFORE THE BOX ELDER PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION AND CITY COUNCIL
Notice is hereby given that the following petitioner has applied to the City of Box Elder Planning and Zoning Commission for vacation of a portion of established right-of-way as follows:
Application by Indigo Design on behalf of Radio Building LLC and Boom Construction Inc. to vacate an approximately 0.66 acre portion of the McGriff Way right-of-way south of Reagan Avenue adjacent to Lots 1 and 2 of Block 1, Lots 1 and 4 of Block 2, and the southern portion of Outlot A, All in Redferen Subdivision, Section 21, T2N, R9E, BHM, Box Elder, Pennington County, South Dakota.
Notice is further given that said application will be heard by the City of Box Elder Planning and Zoning Commission at their meeting held in the Council Chambers at Box Elder City Hall, at 420 Villa Drive, beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 and before the Box Elder City Council at their meeting beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. Any person interested may appear and be heard at either meeting or submit written comments to the Box Elder Planning Department before 5:00 p.m. on July 29, 2025.

Notice is hereby given that the following petitioner has applied to the City of Box Elder for Rezoning as follows:
Application by Radio Building, LLC to Rezone Future Lots 1-4 of Block 10 of Redferen Subdivision (currently Lots 1-3 of Block 2 of Redferen Subdivision and the portion of Outlot A of Redferen Subdivision south of Reagan Avenue) in Section 21, T2N, R9E, B.H.M., Box Elder, Pennington County, South Dakota.
The applicant wishes to rezone the property from Mixed Use Residential and Agricultural District to Highway Service.
Notice is further given that said application will be heard by the City of Box Elder Planning and Zoning Commission at their meeting held in the Council Chambers at Box Elder City Hall, at 420 Villa Drive, beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 and before the Box Elder City Council at their meeting beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
